Versatile, charming and hardworking, Amit Tandon is an Indian television actor and musician. He was a finalist in Indian Idol Season 1 and has continued to be a singing sensation ever since with hit singles such as Tanha, Checkmate, and Meri Akhiyaan along with a long list of soulful covers and recreations. He has also successfully launched his own music channel by the name of ATM on youtube.
Along with his talent and passion for music and live events, Amit has made a name for himself in the world of Hindi television having done pivotal roles in some of televisions biggest shows. Amit began his first show Kaisa Yeh Pyaar Hain in 2005 with the prestigious Balaji Telefilms. Since then, there has been no turning back as he proved his mettle by continuing to feature in many successful television shows which have been massively popular.
He is however best known and most loved for his character of Dr. Abhimanyu Modi in the superhit youth show, Dil Mil Gaye. Later, he went on to even hosting events and many successful reality shows like Dadagiri, Battle of the Sexes and Star Parivaar Awards. He even put his dancing shoes and prowess on display on the reality show Zara Nachke Dikha. Whether it’s singing, dancing, hosting, acting, Amit has done it all and mastered each one of them.
Amit also appeared in the hit Balaji Telefilms show, Yeh Hain Mohabbatein where he played the character of an estranged doctor, Dr. Subramaniam (Subbu) Chandran. After that he also made a splash in the hit show Kasam Tere Pyar ki where he played the role of Abhishek Khurana.
Over the years, Amit has been a heartthrob for his many fans in the country and abroad and has been entertaining them equally through acting and music and will continue to do so with many upcoming songs and acting endeavours.
